We have been having some beautiful sailing this week and it looks like the weekend will also have great weather and great winds. As this season is getting under way, it seems like there are more traditional boats out there than modern boats. Just yesterday we sailed right by two of the Camden, Maine Windjammer fleet. What a beautiful sight to watch Mary Day and Angelique setting their sails and heading down the bay!
Earlier this week my son’s class was on a field trip to Aldemere Farms, so I sailed up into the harbor and blasted the horn. My son loved it and so did the class. It is not every day that you see a tall ship only 30 feet from the shore… I had a great time myself.
