Today it feels like summer has finally decided to join us here on the midcoast of Maine. The sun is shining and Camden Harbor is starting to fill up with lobster boats and sailing vessels from all points. We are very happy to be part of all the goings on down here on the docks.
People from all over the globe are out strolling the streets, enjoying the sunshine, and joining us for a 2 hour cruise around Penobscot Bay. I can think of nothing better than to get out on the ocean and enjoy the sun and breeze and a bit of sailing with family and friends.
Our next special event will be our first full moon sail of the season on June 12th. The Schooner Olad leaves from the dock at 7:15pm. Watch the sun go down behind the mountains of Camden Hills State Park; then turn seaward and watch the moonrise over the islands of Penobscot Bay. It should be a great time for all. We're also looking forward to Father's Day and sailing with all your wonderful dads. Your dad will get half off their 2 hour cruise with us if accompanied by a family member.
A big thank you to everyone who has booked with us this summer for your special event. We have many private charters booked for weddings, family events, company outings, and lobster bakes which are loads of fun. The vessel Owl will be out this summer as well. The Owl holds six passengers and is available from 2 hours to a full day, making it both intimate and versatile for you smaller group.
We look forward to having you out with us on the Schooner Olad and the Cutter Owl this summer!
