Welcome to a new year! We hope that everyone had a great holiday season, and enjoying winter thus far.
We have had quite a few conversations recently with people inquiring about the possibility of getting married on the Schooner Olad or the Cutter Owl this upcoming sailing season.
We love to have people get married on the boat so much that two of our captains are notaries! It's the perfect venue for an intimate affair, and the views can't be beat. Many couples take a two hour private charter and get married near the lighthouse on Curtis Island...what a backdrop! We also have many groups decide to make it an all day affair, and let us prepare them a traditional Maine lobster feast out on Warren Island State Park. However much time is spent with us, we will help make it a day you and your guests will always remember.
Along with weddings we also have many groups that charter the boats out for bachelorette and bachelor parties as well as something to do for their guests who come into town for a larger affair at one of the local resorts. Either way, it’s always fun to help coordinate the event. We love assisting in finding a local caterer or a florist to help make the boat especially festive.
